Watermelon is almost entirely water, which is why a cold pressed glass rehydrates the way it does on a hot day on the block.
Lycopene
The thing that makes it red

The pigment that gives watermelon its colour. Watermelon is one of the richest everyday sources of it — richer than raw tomato.
Citrulline
Named after the fruit

An amino acid first isolated from watermelon — citrullus is literally where it gets its name. Concentrated in the flesh and the rind.

Vitamins, plus potassium

Along with magnesium. All of it from the fruit itself, because nothing else goes in.

Grown, not ordered

Most juice bars buy from a distributor. We drive out to the farm, pick the melons ourselves, and bring them back to Harlem. That is the whole difference, and you can taste it.

Everything is pressed here, every morning, from whole fruit. No powders, no concentrate, no water. What goes in the bottle is what came off the truck.

We are a Black-owned juice manufacturing company, built in Harlem, serving the block we come from. Two shops now — Amsterdam Ave, and the new one on Lexington at 122nd.
